A little week-end stamping!

I finally had a chance to do some stamping this week-end....bet you thought I had forgotten all about my new blog, but nothing could be farther from the truth! This bright and cheerful card with the cherry sprig is one of the projects for my March stamp club. It's stamped with the Tart and Tangy stamp set from the new Stampin' UP! Occasions mini catalogue and uses the beautifully coordinating designer paper called "Summer Picnic". I had no idea that I would like this set so much when I ordered it as part of a "bundle" deal at the Stampin' UP! Leadership conference back in January but I am glad that I got it. It only takes a few great samples to make me fall in love with a set that I didn't know I was going to like!

The acetate M&M box and the little pink "Love" card (made with For a Friend, a Level 1 hostess set in the 2008 Spring/Summer Stampin' UP! catalogue) were made for a wedding shower for friends from church who are getting married in late March. A check is often a welcome gift but a little boring so I tried to sweeten it up with a little treat in a stamped acetate box!
