At long last, another card to share!

I am still struggling a little with figuring out this watermark thing but did manage to get a watermark on this card, unfortunately I managed to put it right over the sentiment on the bottom but oh well, at least you can see the flowers.

This card was done with Botanical Blooms, rapidly becoming one of my favorites of the new SAB sets! This is very similar to a card I did for an early Feb. workshop, but I changed up the colors a bit to use it for a card ministry project earlier this week. We made about a dozen of these, some were stamped with "thank you" and the others with "get well soon" to use so we'll be ready for any occasion. Everyone, even our newbie stampers agreed that this was a very easy stamp set to use...you might even say "forgiving"?

For our other card, we made St. Patrick's Day cards to send out to our college students but I'll wait and share those at another time. What, did you think I was going to get crazy and post a whole bunch all at once? Not likely!

Tomorrow I'll be working on projects for my upcoming Big Shot class which will be held this Friday, Feb 27th at my home If you are on my mailing list, you should have already received an invitation to it however I'll extend a general invitation here in case I missed anyone. There are several ways to attend...if you have purchased a Big Shot already and just need to know what to do with it, you can just pay the $15 class fee to attend. If you are thinking about getting a Big Shot but want to play around with it a bit first, this is the perfect time to get some hands on practice. I do have several ladies who are planning to purchase the Big Shot and they will be doing it on the "club plan" which is an installment plan format. Pay a certain amount each month and at the end of the 5 month series you will have paid off the Big Shot plus you will have acquired all kinds of hands on experience AND you will get the classes included in your club plan. If you have already purchased a Big Shot from me, then the classes are free as my way of thanking you for your business. So far I am planning an Easter goodie bag, a quilt card (plus a project to use up the "leftovers" from your quilt card) and another project which I am still mulling over. I'll try to have some pictures of those to post tomorrow so you can get an idea of what we'll be doing.

The class is "open house" format so people can arrive at their convenience between 11 a.m. and 4 PM or come to the evening session which is from 7 to 9 PM. Just let me know if you are coming and I would love to see you there. Jan

Jan: What program are you using to import your watermark? Are you creating a watermark within your program by adding text or did someone create a watermark for you? I'll try and help if I can!
