Is this not the cutest thing? a final project for Feb. stamp club

Now that I'm "on a roll", I am anxious to continue sharing photos of some of my recent projects. This cute little "goodie bag" is such a cute and easy project because it was made with the Big Shot using the Top Note XL die. I think this is my favorite of all the dies so I use it every chance I get. When I saw this idea shared somewhere I had to try it....I thought it made a perfect Valentine goodie bag for a few chocolate treats, a gift card or whatever is suitable for your favorite Valentine.
To make this, all you need is the Top Note die an an oval punch (or the Word Window punch)a small bakery size paper bag cut down to size, (about 3 inches tall) and the stamp set of your choice. In this case, I used the "Love You Much" stamp set from Stampin' UP!'s recent Valentine Bundle deal with Real Red craft ink and kraft cardstock, tied up with 5/8th " Real Real grosgrain ribbon. I had to borrow the "happy valentine's day" sentiment from Happy Heart Day but "friend to friend" from Love You Much would also work.
Just diecut two Top Note dies, stamp according to your taste and then stick the Top Note pieces onto either side of the small bakery bag. After it has been assembled, use the punch to make a handle, then tuck in your treats and tie it up with a little bow.
If you like the Big Shot and enjoy learning great ideas for using it, stay tuned for my "So, you wanna be a Big Shot?" class which will be a great way for anyone interested in obtaining a Big Shot via the installment plan as well as a fun class for anyone who just wants to get some ideas. If you are in the area and are interested in being a club member in this group, just give me a call at 618-531-3406 or e-mail me at inkerzaway@aol.com for details. We will be starting on Friday, February 20th. Jan

Hi Jan, Chicago is alot more north than we are. We live outside of Lawrenceville, IL. We are just on the Illinois side of the river from Vincennes, Indiana. We had majoy flooding this past summer. Where's O'Fallon at? The snow is all gone now and our roads are really muddy. Yesterday it was about 55 or 60 degrees!
