Aug Stamp Club card

Ah, summer is coming to an end and I hate to see it go but at the same time, it's nice to get back into a routine, isn't it? And one of my very favorite routines is stamping! So here is a picture of one of the cards we did for my August stamp club group today. We used Upsy Daisy which is one of the sets being offered at 15% off for the rest of this month and all of September. I love the sihouette style of stamps as they offer such versatility...you can stamp them as is or color them with markers (or sponge daubers...a favorite new trick I just learned!) or emboss them in white and sponge or daub color over them, as we did for the card in this photo.

This card also uses Baja Breeze, one of Stampin' UP!'s new "in colors" for the next 12 months along with my perennial low calorie favorite, Chocolate Chip cardstock! A little strip of leftover decorative paper from the Bella Rosa collection and this quick and easy little card is complete!
