finally, a card share!

Ok, finally....at long last I have a picture of an actual CARD! This is a card I made for the Split Coast Stampers Dinner swap at the Stampin' UP! convention earlier this month. I used a stamp set called Razzle Dazzle and the new Crushed Curry polka dot ribbon. It's hard to see in the photo but I also ran one of the card layers through the Big Shot using the Damask texture plate. I hate to admit it but lately I have a hard time making a card without somehow using my Big Shot. Kind of funny because I used to wonder why a stamper would ever need a diecut machine! How quickly things change. ;-) The sentiment was punched out with the Modern Label punch and layered on the Movers and Shapers piece matching the Modern Grid. See? there's that Big Shot thing again!

To make the card, I stamped the focal image from Razzle Dazzle in black on white glossy cardstock, then layered on a slightly larger piece of Basic Black. I ran the next white cardstock layer through the Big Shot with the Damask plate then added another layer of black and white. The Crushed Curry ribbon went under the stamped image and I tucked the ribbon ends under the textured layer. It was a simple card but I liked the yellow ribbon accent with the black and white color scheme. Jan
