all done...and it's only Dec 18th!
Yes, believe it or not, I have managed to finish the Christmas cards early this year....it's only December 18th! Of course, we still have to iron out the Christmas "family gram" and update the addresses but having the cards finished is a very good start! Have I ever mentioned that I am a bit of a procrastinator?
I started the cards back in September during a 'girls' getaway" week and finally pulled them out and got them finished up this week. With any luck they will be in the mail and postmarked by Christmas Eve but as far as I'm concerned anything postmarked in December is still way ahead of my usual schedule.
Here is a picture of all 93 cards I made....had to let them stand and dry for a bit because I used metallic ink on them and didn't want them to smear. Isn't this a magnificent sight?
Of course, I cased the card idea...it's been so long that I can't even remember where I saw the original but I think it was from a Founders Circle swap which someone shared on a blog or maybe on the Stampin' Connection (demonstrator only Stampin' Up! web gallery ), I tweaked it a little bit here and there but it sure is a pretty card done with the metallic gold cardstock!
The card uses the Tags Till Christmas set, the Northern Flurry and Perfect Polka Dot embossing folders and the Decorative Label punch. Merry Christmas, everyone! .
