Just wanted to share a picture of some of the diecut stockings we made at stamp club this past week-end using the new stocking diecut from the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini....so easy and cute, the hardest thing was figuring out which piece was the heel and which was the toe! (hint...the toe is bigger than the heel)
We used Rose Red patterned paper (Designer Paper Stack) and white cardstock to make these....stamped on some of them with the Snow Swirled stamp set and others I embossed the plain parts with the new Snowburst embossing folder. Overall, I was very pleased with how easy it was to make them. They would be great for little Christmas party favors or to "wrap" a small gift or treat like cash/check/gift card or even a lottery ticket (depending on the size of the ticket!), a candy cane or snack size candy bar would also fit inside.
The most important thing to remember is do NOT put adhesive across the top of the stocking opening...please don't ask me how I know this. lol! I will warn you that it could be hard to stuff goodies inside when the top is stuck together...but I'm just guessing on that. ;-)
If you are interested, here is what you need to make these stockings.
Snowburst Embossing folder #124096 $7.95
Bigz XL Die Holiday Stocking #124098 $32.95
Snow Swirled stamp set ##111690 $24.95 (available in wood mount only)
