That's right...it's never too late to come up with some great Christmas cards! That's the "title" I have chosen for this year's Christmas card class. Now let's be honest, in my case the cards rarely, if ever, are postmarked before December 24th but for the majority of people, cards usually do go out sometime in mid to late December.
For the last few years I have offered Headstart on the Holidays classes starting in Sept/Oct but this year I am running a little late. What can I say? I supposed that's an inherited trait....I was a DeLay in name as well as routine for about 25 yrs before I got married but once a DeLay, always a DeLay, right? So despite the fact that this year my classes won't start until November, I assure you the cards will be equally quick and cute!
Here's a picture of several of the cards we'll be doing. If some of these look familiar, it's because I rely heavily on my multi-talented demonstrator friends for ideas and I make no secret of it....who needs to be creative when you are a talented copycat? lol! So, many thanks to stampinglee yours and inking addict for sharing their wonderful talents via their blogs and card shares! There are two additional cards not pictured, but I guarantee you will love them too! Pay special attention to the angel card on the far right as that is the "bonus card" you will get to make for free when you complete your class registration no later than Sunday, Nov. 8th.
The classes will be held in 3 session starting on Tuesday, Aug 10th (arrive between 2 and 4 PM for the afternoon session or at 7 PM for the evening session) and again on Saturday, August 14th, arrive between 12:00 noon and 4 PM to create your cards. For each class, you will make 8 cards (2 each of 4 styles) plus the great bonus card for early registration(the angel card on the far right of above photo) if you register and prepay by Sunday, Nov 8th. Cost of the class is $15 which includes envelopes, however I offer a $5 rebate with an order of $25 placed on the day of the class. I hope to see you then! Jan
