thank you, Jackie Topa!

Yes, I have gone crazy over this "Tropical Party" set from the new summer mini. I love the way it makes a card which is suitable for men or ladies. Reminds me of that old Irish bar soap commerical, "manly, yes...but I like it, too!". ;-) This particular card was the brainchild of Jackie Topa, a very talented SU demo who lives in Canada and shares her work freely. Since imitation (with credit!) is the most sincere form of flattery, I hope that Jackie is happy I am having so much fun copying her cards. I demo'ed this at a workshop last week and it was very well received....easy to do but wow, what a great card! If you would like to learn how to make this card, I am featuring at this month's stamp club meetings. We'll meet this Sunday, may 16th at 2 PM at my house for our Sunday group and again on Tuesday, May 25th 1 to 4 PM OR 7 to 9 PM for my Tuesday group. if you are in the local O'Fallon, IL area and would like to join us, just let me know you want to come and I'll hook you up with directions.
