It's a Tropical Party (thank you note!) from guest stamper Connie K!
One of my stamping friends, Connie K, showed me this cute and quick card style she was making for her newly married son and his wife , so, naturally I begged her to let me take a photo and share it and she agreed so thanks, Connie!
I am not sure I have all of the details right but they enjoyed a tropical themed "destination wedding" on a romantic island somewhere with close friends and family in attendance ....that said, what could be more natural than thank you notes made to order with the Tropical Party stamp set!
This set was featured in the 2010 Summer Mini catalogue and is a perfect example of why you should NOT wait to see if a stamp set will make it into the next big catalogue before you buy it. In other words, if you love it...just get it now! And thankfully, that is what Connie did giving her the perfect set to make cards for that great tropical wedding.
She used a simple design with beautiful soft island colors and even did a little stamping on the inside of the card. How simple and sweet is that! Some lucky gal just found herself a fantastic mother-in-law, don't you think?
A big thank you to Connie for sharing the card and allowing me to take a photo of it to share here on my blog. In order to comply with the Stampin' Up! angel policy I needed to have the SU copyright/logo info displayed with the photography so I just grabbed the "Angel Stamp" which I use with my own cards because it has the copyright info but I did not make the card.
If you have made a special card to coordinate with a particular event using Stampin' Up! images, I would love to see it and maybe even feature it on my blog so I'd love to challenge my blogger friends to share their card ideas with me for future "publication" here on my blog so let me know if you have something to share,
